Location
We cover most of Surrey and parts of Hampshire, Berkshire and West Sussex. A radius of about twenty-five miles or so from our base in Farnham. Check your postcode on this page or if you are not sure, then please give us a call.
Will you consider going outside your normal area?
We are prepared to sometimes go out of our normal area but it depends on distance and the age of the chosen wedding car. Please contact us with all the relevant wedding locations for consideration and a quotation.
Duration & details
The hire period for wedding cars is a three hour minimum from the time we are requested to be at the departure address (usually 15 minutes prior to departure) until the time we leave the reception. If you are unsure of whether you might need additional time for your wedding car hire, then please consult us – with more than twenty-two years experience with wedding transportation, we have learnt a trick or two. If you do need more time you may pre-book at £75 per hour.
Can you supply Champagne in the wedding cars?
We regret that due to licensing laws we are unable to supply any alcohol. We can, however, offer you a BYO Champagne Service. If you bring your own bottle, we can supply the champagne cooler, the crushed ice and the champagne flutes and serve you your champagne or preferred beverage.
What happens if it rains?
All our open wedding cars have side screens which are carried in the car. We also pack large umbrellas in all cars (white or ivory) to get you from the car to your destination.
Are you able to accommodate large wedding dresses and trains?
The dress room in our wedding cars vary from car to car so please contact us for advice on your preferred car. Our drivers are trained to help you into the wedding car and position your dress and train to ensure as few creases as possible.
How are the cars decorated?
All our wedding cars will come with white or ivory ribbons. You can also supply your own ribbons in other colours, so please telephone or email us for exact requirements.
Booking & payment
Once you have decided, we suggest you book immediately. We have a limited collection of unique classic and vintage wedding cars and they are extremely popular, with many booked up over a year in advance.
Can we view the wedding cars prior to booking them?
Yes. We always encourage you to view before booking so that you can be sure you are booking the right car for your big day. This is especially important for the bride, who may want to check out how the interior will accommodate their dress. Please book an appointment by email or telephone.
How much is the deposit?
The deposit is £75 per car, payable when you reserve.
Can I secure the wedding car prior to sending the deposit and booking form?
Yes. We are more than happy to reserve the car for seven days to give you plenty of time to view the car, send us the completed booking form and the deposit. You will see this option upon checkout.
When is the balance due for our wedding car?
The final balance is due 6 weeks prior to the wedding. We send you a final invoice well ahead of time.
Will we receive a receipt?
Yes, we will send you a written receipt and acknowledgement of your booking, together with a copy of the form you completed within seven days of receiving the booking fee and completed booking form.
Cancellations & refunds
Is the deposit refundable?
Unfortunately, it is not refundable. However, if you cancel between 4 and 8 weeks before the wedding, the deposit will be deducted from the cancellation fee. See the cancellation charges below.
Are there cancellation charges?
Yes, cancellation charges are on a sliding scale and detailed in our Terms and Conditions.
If you cancel the contract at any time up to 6 weeks before the wedding day, then you will need only to forfeit the deposit.
If you cancel the contract between 4 and 6 weeks before the wedding day, then you will need to pay 50% of the price. The deposit will be deducted from the cancellation fee.
If you cancel the contract between 2 and 4 weeks before the wedding day, then you will need to pay 75% of the Price. The deposit will be deducted from the cancellation fee.
If you cancel the contract less than a fortnight before the wedding day, then you will need to pay 100% of the Price. The deposit will be deducted from the cancellation fee.
Guest Transportation
Yes. Over the years we have built up a large number of reliable contacts for the hire of Routemaster buses, vintage and modern coaches and minibuses. You may also choose to hire our fleet of Mercedes ‘E’ class wedding cars.
Can you take other guests in the wedding cars before or after the bride?
Yes, we can run two journeys provided the journey time from house to the ceremony is ten minutes or less. We offer this service free of charge, as long as it is arranged ahead of time.
We need to transport many bridesmaids – what should we do?
We suggest the following options:
- If the journey time from house to venue is less than five minutes we can make two trips in the wedding car prior to the bride.
- Hiring a seven-seat Daimler limousine (British).
- Hire up to 4 of our E class Mercedes, which seat up to four passengers.
- Hire a people carrier, minibus or even a vintage coach.
The Drivers
Our drivers wear dark suits so they blend in with the guests.
How experienced are they?
Our drivers have a minimum of five years experience driving wedding cars, most have ten years and a few have been driving brides and grooms for over twenty years.
