We won an award at The Wedding Industry Awards for best wedding transport in Surrey…and beyond!
In fact, we are officially Regional Winners for best wedding transport supplier in the South Central area, as voted by our wonderful clients. We couldn’t be happier that our brides and grooms (and bridesmaids and mothers-of-the-bride etc!) loved their Classic & Vintage experience so much that they voted for us in these prestigious wedding awards.
Entrants of the Wedding Transport Awards are wedding suppliers based in England, Scotland or Wales, across 24 categories in 8 regions of England, all voted for by their previous year’s clients.
When voting, clients score on various aspects of the product or service and a regional shortlist for each category is drawn up using voter scores and judging panel input.
The South Central Regional Awards Event was held in November last year at our very own local venue, the stunning Farnham Castle. It was one of the best nights of our year! Here are a few images from the event:
How we won best wedding transport in Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire, and West Sussex
Voters were asked about our range of options, the quality of expertise, advice, and guidance we gave and our customer services and communications. These factors got us average votes all over 9 points out of 10. We did just as well in questions about our ability to understand and fit to individual weddings, punctuality and presentation, value for money and the quality of our web presence. Our final score was 67/70!
Voters were also able to provide personal comments about us, our classic wedding cars, and the experience of their wedding journey. Here are a few of our favourite comments:
“We had a non traditional wedding where we travelled together and the experience was awesome. So much confidence in the team, from the first point of contact to going to meet our car before the big day, right up till the point our driver Angela pulled away from our final destination. The whole experience from start to finish was just perfect for our perfect wedding day.”

“The Classic & Vintage Car Company made our wedding day very special. The car was arranged at fairly short notice and the pre-wedding discussions were easy and helpful, to the point of offering glasses if we wanted to bring champagne for the car. We had a 1920’s theme and the car they supplied, ‘Melissa‘, was perfect for the day – right out of Downton Abbey! Andy, the owner and driver on the day was very flexible with his time, allowing plenty time for photographs after the ceremony.”

“We hired “Cathy“, the beautiful Mark II Jaguar for our wedding day and she was expertly driven by the lovely Freddie. I was so nervous before the ceremony but Freddie was prompt, affable and chatty and really helped to calm my nerves on the drive to our wedding venue. He gave me advice on how to enter and exit the car elegantly in a wedding dress and we thoroughly enjoyed our drive after the ceremony! The whole service from start to finish was excellent and we highly recommend this company!”
